MISC

Here you'll find a collection of 3D and 2D work. Both old and new. Enjoy!

Down below you can see a WIP shot of a bust sculpture I started working on some time ago. It started out as a ZBrush sketch (dynamesh sphere) during one of our classes at Futuregames. After a while I started to like it so I decided to take it a little bit further. The high poly is done and I am right now working on the low poly, UVs, textures and light and materials inside of Marmoset 2. Check back soon for the final version!

Two characters I came up with named Donnie and Christa. Everything is done with ZBrush and Maya. In the end everything was rendered and placed on the front page of two a fictional game covers.

I created this modular set (5 pieces) of walls that you can use to build rooms with. I started out by building the low poly versions in Maya. I then imported everything into ZBrush where I sculpted all of the normal details. Once everything was baked down on one single map I used dDo to create all of the textures. Some final tweaks were done using photo textures (for example the windows) and then everything was imported into Marmoset 2. In the end I also imported everything into Cryengine 3 where I built a bigger room and had some fun with placing lights and decals.

On occation I also do some digital painting. Down below are some examples from when I tried to focus on realism. Everything is hand painted in Photoshop.

I've been a huge fan of Gears of War since the first day it came out and I've spent a lot (!) of hours playing it in multiplayer. Therefore I did this quick fan art which I've been wanting to do for quite some time. Really digging the design on Barrick so I decided to give it a try. Sculpted and painted in ZBrush.

Boot sculpted for character. ZBrush & Maya.

Here are some examples of props i sculpted for our second game project at Futuregames - Wasteland Warriors. These images are only the high polys, but as always I also made the low poly versions. Some of the props were textured by me and some were sent out to the other team members. Our main inspiration was Borderlands so it was definitely a challenge, but also fun. The nice thing about the low poly versions is that they were made in 2-3 different versions so you could mix up the assets in more than one way when they arrived in the game engine (Unity).

A speed sculpt character I made after concept (concept not by me). Everything needed to be symmetrical.

I sculpted this hand holding dog tags in ZBrush with the end goal to be placed on the front page of a fictional game cover. Everything is done with ZBrush, Maya and Photoshop.

A couple of small speed sculpts I made after one of my classmates gave me these really funny concepts representing cute but very dead animals.
